Contained here are all of my old news posts going back as far as when this site was first established. Mostly this is just to alleviate the general clutter on the main page while still retaining information on the frequency of my updates. Likely, you won't find much useful information here, but peruse at your own pleasure.

 

UPDATE 07.19.07
 

Yikes! Almost a year without updates, but I've been busy. I've updated my resume and about me sections to include my time spent working with Liquid Development as well as my choice earlier this year to join the United States Army Reserve.

I've spent the last five months away between Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson in South Carolina, and Advanced Individual Training at the Quartermaster School at Fort Lee in Virginia. Now that I'm back, I've been assigned to the 396th Combat Support Hospital Reserve Unit in Vancouver, WA.

 

UPDATE 08.30.06
 

Work on the 3D aspects of a small project are proceeding nicely. The set is more or less finished, and I am now working on modeling the first of two characters, whom the talented Kevin Deng is doing concept art for.

I hope to have a finished script provided by Edan Koch by the end of the week, and voice talent chosen and recorded in another week or two. I've posted up several renders of the set (a bar interior)

 

UPDATE 07.17.06
 

Having graduated and taken some time off for relaxation, I am currently persuing work. I am seeking and applying for positions as an animator and / or character rigger at a gaming company. I'm also looking at positions at various animation houses in addition.

I'm also working on a side project which I hope to have something to show for in the near future. At the moment, though, its in early planning and concept stages.

 

UPDATE 03.13.06
 

This will probably be the last update I can make before graduation. I updated my resume, updated my demo reel to the version I will be showing at the portfolio show, and later tonight or tommorrow I will be adding a downloadable artist maquette to the rigs section that can be animated by users of Maya 7.0, so look for that soon.

Huzzah for graduation. Almost there.

Made a large update today to the traditional section. Some form studies, a bit of miscellaneous concept art, as well as concept art done for the current iteration of this website, and several images depicting a game character motion study for a variety of animations.

Added a few examples of rigs I have done to the rigging section. More yet coming, look for downloadable examples of my rigs soon.

All the old content is accessable again and the site is mostly functional. The new rigs section is still under construction, so look for additional content there soon.

I have also update the animation section with more animations from Afflicted and Dissident Aggressor as well as putting up a more recent resume.

I anticipate trying to put up a lot more work as I gear up for graduation at the end of March. If you're interested and in the area of Portland, OR (or willing to travel) the Art Institute of Portland's portfolio show will be March 24th. Stop by and look me up.

Redesigning the entire site asthetics. Underlying structure should remain intact and everything should be transfered over in the next few days. Shortly after that should come additional new content.

I have added a few additional animations to the animation section, as well as a brief reel, and up to date resume.
